A. To Bruny Island to fix the roads.

Q. Why?

A. There is lots more traffic on Bruny these days.

Q. How does the traffic get there?

A. Takes ages but it does eventually get down Ferry Road.

At this moment the direction is unclear. Have faith.

Change when it arrives often comes quickly and from an unusual direction.

If Ferry Road is to be fixed it now looks likely we may have to wait for the above adage to come to fruition.

Well, I wish you all good luck. The way I see it though, and history shows, if either Labor or Liberal get elected the money will quickly be re-diverted to forestry or pulp mill roads.

Thanks for the congratulations Keith and David.

The support of Councillors and of the Bruny Island community is very much valued. I suspect this is just the start of a long slog but this is at least the first positive sign of some real financial commitment.

The efforts of the Kettering and Oyster Cove Residents Group over the past 15 years should not be underestimated. If they hadn’t been chipping away for so long I doubt we would have had this breakthrough moment. There are many people who have been working behind the scenes and many factors at play – this website is just one small contribution to maintaining the issues in front of the pollies.
