New office bearers for KOCRES

Its AGM season again and the Kettering and Oyster Cove Residents Group (KOCRES) Annual General Meeting was held on 6 August.

Ed Wilson was elected as Chair and Picton Hay as Vice-Chair.  Erica Roberts is the new secretary while Peter Laud continues, as Treasurer, to hold the purse strings.

The new “executive” is reportedly keen to find out what issues the community wants the group to pursue.  You can help by giving them an indication of what your top priority is for fixing Ferry Road.  Vote in the poll on the right hand side of this site.

    Hi Graham
being a non Ferry Rd resident my wish is for the walkway and no development on the waterside and minimal development on the south.

    Hi Graham
The Ferry queuing problems would be resolved with the buy back of 61 Ferry Road to be developed for extra parking and marshalling areas. This should be the first priority, followed by road widening and log term resolution of the sewerage issues.

I agree with Robyn & Tony Parsey, but would also like to see a footpath and the road widened. If we have to walk that far to collect our mail then we should be able to do it safely!
